The key points
- You can play without creating an account. Puzzle progress is stored on your device.
- Ads and purchases are available only after you select the 18+ age group. Leaving age unspecified keeps them disabled.
- Eligible adults may see nonpersonalized ads at an explicit transition after a win. A one-time purchase removes in-app ads.
- You can ask about or request deletion of information we control by emailing support@asiansparrow.com.
1. Game progress on your device
Sparrow Sudoku saves your current puzzle, notes, settings, results, earned coins, themes, achievements, daily progress and practice-league progress on your device. Recent gameplay history is used to calculate game statistics. Practice-league opponents are simulated; there is no real-player matchmaking.
The game does not require an account and does not provide cloud progress sync. Android system backup is disabled for the app. We do not upload your puzzle grids or game history to our own servers. Your progress may be lost if you clear the app's data or uninstall it.
We do not ask for your date of birth, name, phone number or email address to play. The game does not request access to your contacts or device location. Service requests described below can still reveal an IP address and other technical information. Game scores describe puzzle activity, not your health, memory or cognitive ability.
2. Age choices and younger players
Sparrow Sudoku is intended for ages 13 and older, including teens and adults. It is not directed to children under 13.
You may choose an age group in Settings: under 18, 18+, or unspecified. This coarse choice is stored locally; we do not collect your birthdate. At startup, the advertising and purchase SDKs are initialized only when your saved choice is 18+. For under-18 and unspecified users, these services are not initialized and ads and purchases remain unavailable. Core puzzle play remains available.
You can change your choice in Settings. Changing away from 18+ blocks new monetization calls and discards any prepared ad. It does not erase information already sent during earlier eligible use. If you believe a child under 13 has provided personal information to us, please contact us so we can review and address it.
3. Advertising and privacy choices
For eligible adult users, the app uses Google AdMob to request nonpersonalized interstitial ads with a general-audience content rating. An ad can appear only at an explicit transition after a completed puzzle, rather than during puzzle play. A valid Remove ads purchase disables in-app ads.
Nonpersonalized advertising still involves data processing. Depending on applicable settings and privacy choices, Google may receive an IP address, approximate location inferred from it, device or account identifiers, app and ad interactions, and diagnostic information. This supports ad delivery, measurement, frequency controls, performance and fraud prevention.
Google's User Messaging Platform presents privacy choices where required. You can revisit available choices from Privacy options in Settings. We request ads only when the consent service permits requests. No separate first-party analytics service is added; the advertising and purchase SDKs may perform their documented service analytics.

4. One-time purchases
Eligible adults may buy Remove ads as a one-time purchase through Google Play. Google Play handles payment. RevenueCat validates purchase information and maintains the ad-removal entitlement so it can be restored.
RevenueCat processes purchase history, product and transaction information, Google Play purchase tokens, an anonymous app user identifier, and technical information needed to provide its service. A network connection also exposes an IP address to the receiving service. An anonymous identifier distinguishes an app installation without requiring an app login; it is still an identifier associated with purchase records.
We do not receive your full payment-card details. Purchase records support validation, restoration, support, fraud prevention and the provider's purchase analytics. Purchases and restoration require an internet connection and the appropriate Google Play account. See RevenueCat's privacy information and Google's privacy information.
5. Support requests and this website
If you contact support, we receive your message, reply address and the information you choose to include. We use these details to respond, troubleshoot and handle your request. Do not send passwords, full payment-card numbers or unrelated sensitive information.
The support and privacy pages do not include advertising or analytics scripts. When you load a hosted page, the hosting service may process standard request information, such as your IP address, browser information, requested page and access time, to deliver and protect the website. Following an external link or sending an email uses the respective provider's services and privacy practices.
6. Retention and deletion
Local progress
Your local game data remains until you remove it. You can clear Sparrow Sudoku's storage in Android Settings or uninstall the app. This removes local progress; it does not cancel a purchase, issue a refund or automatically delete records held by Google Play or RevenueCat.
Purchase and support records
We retain support and purchase-related information for as long as needed to resolve requests, maintain and restore purchase rights, prevent fraud, meet legal obligations or resolve disputes. We do not promise an arbitrary fixed retention period for all records. Service-provider retention also depends on the relevant service terms, data-processing agreements and legal requirements.
To request access to or deletion of records we control, email support@asiansparrow.com with “Sparrow Sudoku privacy request” and enough information to locate the records. For a purchase request, this may include your Google Play order number or a receipt with sensitive details removed, and your anonymous app user ID if available. Please never send full payment details or your Google password.
We may ask for proportionate information to verify a request. We will delete or de-identify information where applicable, instruct relevant service providers as appropriate, and explain any information we must retain. Google may retain transaction records under its own obligations. Restoring or using a purchase later may create or update necessary purchase records again. We will explain any effect a deletion request may have on restoration.
7. Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live, applicable law may give you rights to access, correct, delete or receive a copy of personal information, to object to or restrict processing, or to withdraw consent. Some laws also provide rights to opt out of certain advertising uses or to appeal a request decision. You can contact us to exercise applicable rights without discrimination for doing so.
Use the app's age-group and Privacy options settings to manage the choices available in the app. Device advertising controls may provide additional choices. Withdrawing a choice does not change processing that was already lawful before the change. If you have an unresolved concern, you may also contact the relevant data-protection authority.
8. Security and service providers
The advertising and purchase providers document encrypted network transport. We limit game permissions and use service providers for advertising, payment validation, hosting and support as described in this policy. We may disclose information where reasonably necessary to comply with law, protect users or investigate fraud.
Providers may process information in countries other than your own, including the United States, under their applicable agreements and safeguards. No storage or transmission method can guarantee absolute security.
We may update this policy when the app or its data practices change. The effective date above identifies this version. Material changes will be communicated as required by applicable law.
